Building Project

The Solid Rock is undertaking a project to build a Church of God Bible College and worship centre in Drogheda. Please contact us if you can help.

Throughout Ireland remnants of old stone towers can be seen. These towers stood in the center of the village and were built for the protection of the village inhabitants. When the enemy would attack the village, the peasants would run to the tower and climb up a ladder to a door which was 30 to 50 feet off the ground. Once inside they would pull the ladder inside and shut the door. The enemy could not destroy them because they were inside the tower.

In Psalms 18:2 and 144:2 the scripture declares that God is our high tower.

Ireland once again needs to rebuild the high towers. Not of stone or brick but a spiritual high tower where the inhabitants can find refuge and safety from the attack of the enemy.

The new Solid Rock Church building will range from 2-4 stories in height consisting of a church building and a missions training college joined together by a prayer tower. It will be an administrative centre for 11 congregations throughout Ireland. There will also be a 3 storey car park with total parking capacity for up to 222 cars and 3 coaches.

The church will serve the needs of 3 congregations and have a seating capacity for up to 1,008.Access to the buildings will be from the ground floor, circular lobby in the prayer tower which will house the Church of God national offices. It will also have meeting rooms on the second floor, a prayer room on the third floor and a roof top garden.
