Giving Financially to the ministry of Solid Rock Church.
Giving is one of the basic signs of belonging to a Christian community, owning its total mission. Money enables us to spread God’s love around in outreach in Ireland and overseas, to rebuild lives, to train disciples, to build up our children and young people for wholeness and effectiveness.
Money allows us to support great people to work full- or part-time for us all in Trinity Church’s ministries, to have warm and hospitable places to meet, to communicate efficiently, to have great worship music, and to have fun together. God promises to “open the windows of heaven” when we give.
Tax benefits for charities add greatly to the value of your regular recorded giving (standing order, envelope or cheque) and Revenue gives Church of God Charitable Trust (the charitable body that represents Solid Rock Church) back the income tax you paid!
How do I give?
- First, decide what your ‘tithe’ % will be
- Give this amount regularly even when absent
- Encourage children and teenagers in tithing
- Cash tithes/gifts can be placed in offering baskets
- Cash in Solid Rock Church envelopes gains SRC extra tax
- Standing order forms add tax value too
- Cheques can be paid to "Church of God Charitable Trust Ltd"
- Special gifts may be marked for particular needs
- Increase your giving annually in line with the financial index or salary raises
- Consider including Solid Rock Church’s ministry when you have a ‘windfall’ or in your will!
Begin today. Ask at the reception desk or contact the Solid Rock Office Tel 041 9803331/9803338, e-mail admin@thesolidrock.net, for standing order forms or numbered gift envelopes.
